City of London School for Girls are supporting Street Child's community-based education programme in Afghanistan by organising the annual sponsored walk on June 25th 2021. Staff and pupils will be walking an impressive 11 miles, with the aim of raising £12,000 to support Street Child's community-based education programme in war-torn Uruzgan. In urban areas of Uruzgan only 2% of girls go to school, and 0% of girls in rural areas. £12,000 would enable Street Child to support 8 community-based schools, and 240 conflict-affected and displaced children.

Please support Street Child by giving generously. Your donations will help Street Child to establish safe and secure learning spaces for children living in Uruzgan, and especially girls, who otherwise would have no access to learning.
