The Cotswold Water Park is a stunning wetland landscape with over 180 lakes covering an area of 42 square miles, which hundreds of local people and visitors enjoy every year. It has received national recognition for its importance for wetland wildlife with thousands of water birds visiting each winter.
Cotswold Lakes Trust is a charity dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of the Cotswold Water Park for the benefit of wildlife and people. It is the only body which represents the entire Cotswold Water Park and with the support of local authorities, communities and businesses, the Trust delivers on projects including access improvements, community events, habitat creation and the protection of endangered species.
We invite you to support the Cotswold Lakes Trust Big 35 km Team Challenge. Our amazing team, whose ages range from their 20s to their late 60s, will be getting cold and wet all day to raise funds for the important conservation work that the Trust undertakes all year round. We will be starting at Riverside Park and making our way across the Cotswold Water Park by sailing, cycling, running, swimming, paddleboarding and canoeing, stopping at Bowmoor Sailing Club, Cotswold Water Park Hire, South Cerney Outdoor, Lake 32 Outdoor Centre and Neigh Bridge Country Park. We will finish with a grand finale at Cleveland Lakes.
Your donation will be used as a third-party contribution to enable a larger Landfill Communities Fund grant. This means that every pound you donate will be passed on to unlock a larger grant of up to £10.
These funds will enable us to continue our vital charitable work in the Cotswold Water Park.
Thank you.
