Story
Ashdown Forest is a unique and precious landscape supporting a diverse range of rare and protected species. With your support, the Forest can thrive and remain a haven for wildlife.
Last year, a team trekked from the south coast to Ashdown Forest in memory of James Adler, the late CEO of the Forest, who was passionate about inspiring the next generation of young nature lovers and conservationists. That walk raised more than £6,000 which will help us do just that.
Now, you can challenge yourself to a 32km guided walk taking in the Forest's historic clumps of pine trees, and help us to raise funds to help educate and inspire young people at the Forest.
The main walk starts at Friends Clump at 8am on Saturday 27th September.
The Mini Clumps Challenge
Families can join in too, in a 3km walk where you can learn about the Forest and why it is so important for our national environment. Join us at the Ashdown Forest Centre between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 27th September to take part!
Make sure to register
Register here to secure your exclusive place. Only 30 places are available for the main walk; and we also encourage families to register in advance for the mini challenge.
Your fundraising will boost the James Adler Memorial Fund, helping us to work with local schools, support our Youth Rangers to make an impact, and encourage children and young people to take care of nature for the future.
Fundraise for us today to become a part of our story, and help save Ashdown Forest for tomorrow.
