Story
In 1975, at the Blue Boar pub in Chipping Norton, Anthony (Tony) Cripps and a group of friends sat down together and founded what would become Chipping Norton Rugby Union Football Club. Originally the club had neither clubhouse nor pitches, they would follow thanks to the fundraising efforts of those early pioneers. Today it is through the dedication and generosity of individuals past and present that the club celebrates its 50th anniversary this season.
While we celebrate the past we are looking to the future so please support our Club Development Campaign, so that we can have a club fit for the next 50 years.
