Story
Support the Cofrin School of Business’ Transcripts to Resumes Transformation
Transforming a business degree from a list of completed courses, to a resume of accomplishment-based learning experiences.
High-Impact Classrooms
Rows of tables and forward-facing seats are the classrooms of yesterday. Creating vibrant spaces where students and faculty choose to spend their time is a priority of the Cofrin School of Business. High-impact classrooms facilitate project-based learning, maximize the effectiveness of remote instruction, and invite external stakeholders into the classroom. These spaces provide the venues where our Transcripts to Resumes Transformation occurs.
High-Impact Practices
In the Willie D. Davis Finance and Investment Lab, we don’t just teach finance students best practices for portfolio management; we give them $450,000 of real money to invest.
As part of our Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, we don’t only teach entrepreneurs the basics of a P & L statement, we have them pitch their business ideas to a panel of successful entrepreneurs who determine which idea wins cash to move their efforts forward.
In our soon-to-be Marketing Excellence Hub, we don’t solely focus on marketing theory, but rather pair students up with regional small business to conduct market analysis, build creative content, and create a digital marketing strategy.
Investing in Talent
What do alumni say they remember most about their UW-Green Bay Education? Their professors! Investing in the professional growth of top faculty talent and recruiting top professors in their field will make a world of difference to today’s learners.
