Story
Community Counselling East Ham has been working in London for over 30 years. We support the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community, providing one-to-one counselling for issues including depression, anxiety, loneliness and isolation, bereavement, childhood trauma and low self-esteem.
We are an independent voluntary organisation and are able to offer low-cost medium and long-term counselling, sometimes working with clients over several years. We do not receive any public funding. Our team of 24 counsellors supports 80+ clients a week.
A donation of £20 provides one free counselling session.
£35 provides a supervision session for a volunteer counsellor.
£100 provides a set of five free counselling sessions.
Commendations from our users:
I want to extend my thanks to everyone at Community Counselling. With my counsellor's support I have in place a really good understanding of my issues and solid plans on how to manage and engage with them going forward. I feel set up and ready to take this work forward on my own now.
A heartfelt thank you for your service. I had ten counselling sessions and frankly this has helped me transform my personal, professional and home life.
