Story

Supporting Comorian Children Through Education, Care & Life Skills

Comoros 2026–2027: An Ongoing Project That Needs Us All Year Round

This is not a one-time appeal. Phase II target begun .

For many children in the Comoros, hardship does not end after Ramadan, summer, or a single school term. The need continues every day — and so must our support.

That’s why One World Relief is continuing and expanding this project throughout 2026–2027, helping needy & vulnerable children access not only education, but the care, guidance, nutrition, and life skills they need to build a safer future.

Please continue giving, sharing, and supporting throughout the year.

🌱 Why This Project Matters

The Comoros is a beautiful island nation — but behind that beauty are communities facing deep challenges.

Many families struggle with poverty and limited opportunities. Schools are often overcrowded and under-resourced. Some children attend class hungry. Others miss school entirely because fees cannot be paid.

And when children lack safe environments, guidance, and opportunities outside the classroom, they become vulnerable to isolation, exploitation, and being left behind.

Because of this, we believe education alone is not enough.

A child also needs safety.

A child needs nourishment.

A child needs confidence, structure, and hope.

💙 A Holistic Approach to Supporting Children

This project exists to invest in the whole child — academically, emotionally, socially, and physically.

Your support helps create an environment where children are not simply attending school, but genuinely growing, learning, and feeling supported.

🎓 What Your Support Will Help Provide

📚 Quality Education

Access to schooling, learning materials, safer classrooms, and an environment where children can thrive.

💼 School Fees Support

🍽️ Nutritious Meals

For some children, a school meal may be the best meal they eat. Food helps children learn with focus and dignity.

🏖️ Structured Holiday Clubs

Safe and supervised spaces during school holidays offering creativity, learning, sports, and enrichment activities.

🏊 Swimming & Water Safety Training

In an island nation, swimming is not just recreation — it is a life-saving skill that many children never get the opportunity to learn. our campaign will save lives by teaching swimming

💻 Life Skills & Development

ICT access, English support, mentorship, confidence-building, and safe environments that help children prepare for the long term future.

🚨 Why Your Support Matters Now

Children in Comoros are still being left behind.

Some are growing up without proper nutrition.

Some are missing education.

Some have never had access to opportunities many of us take for granted.

But small acts of support can completely change the direction of a child’s life.

💙 Around only £60 can support a child with food and education for a month

💙 Even a mere £10 can provide a complete school kit

💙 Larger donations help strengthen long-term infrastructure and sustainability. We aim to solarize the school and build new custom built premises in the future
