For nearly 30 years, the Booth Centre has been a home away from home for people in need in Manchester.
Our mission is to bring about positive change in the lives of people who are homeless or experiencing poverty and support them in planning for and realising a better future.
We live our values of respectfulness, inclusion, empowerment, inspiring, and partnership working. We all work together to alleviate the impact of increasing poverty in Greater Manchester.
Our programme includes vital well-being activities such as volunteering, creative projects, and sports, as well as employability training and help to access mental health support. We also support people to improve their health, to access needed services, to access emergency accommodation, and to secure and maintain a permanent home. The Booth Centre is run in partnership with the people who attend the Centre.
With the support of Compass Associates, we will be able to continue to deliver high-quality, coproduced services to our entire community, even as our community grows.
