Bring the whole family for a spring walk in the beautiful village of Cookham Dean between 27 March and 18 April and follow letter and / or picture clues to solve a puzzle and maybe win a prize!

**NOTE: If you are planning to walk from Monday 12 April STOP 3 in the Jolly Farmer pub garden is INACCESSIBLE due to Covid opening restrictions. The gateway leading into the pub car park will be stop 3 and there is a short detour to get to stop 4 - see the poster by the pub and info below.**

***DETOUR to stop 4: Keep walking down Church Road, the church on your right. Opposite Cookham Dean Women's Institute turn left, village green on your right. Keep following the road to the left towards the Mole and Badger restaurant, then with the pub right in front, bear right onto a footpath through the woods. Continue a short way until you can see a stile on your right, taking you into a field. Go over this and you are at Stop 4."

After the success of our inaugural Advent Window Christmas Trail, we have created the Cookham Dean Easter Trail to fundraise in a socially distanced way and to create a family event that the whole community can enjoy. We hope you have fun!

Follow the trail and instructions, collecting letters and pictures as you walk. For older children, the letters will reveal an Easter-related question. For younger children, cross off the pictures as you walk and find out which one is left. Email your answer(s) to pta@cookhamdean.org by 9am on Monday 19 April to be in with a chance of winning!

SAFETY: When completing the trail, please adhere to the current government guidelines at the time the trail is taking place. Take extra care if walking in low light - wear high vis clothing, take a torch, children stay close to an adult at all times. Pavements are few and far between in Cookham Dean. Expect the trail to take a minimum of one hour, but probably more like 1.5-2 hours with little legs (it is approximately 5km). If the trail is too much to complete in one go, you can take it in sections or in any order! The trail is open from Saturday 27 March until Sunday 18 April, so take your time and enjoy.

The Parent Teacher Association Of The Cookham Dean Church of England (controlled) Primary School (registered charity number: 1014698) will donate 100% of the funds raised to the school to be put towards funding school projects and school improvements.
