Story
Join us for an evening with Lilian Cordell, the author of the award winning cookbook Miriams Table'. Inspired by her mother, (Miriam Abramoff) her delicious recipes and the legacy she has left, find yourself getting to know Lilian as she talks through making one of her favourite Bukharian dishes in a Zoom session.
You will not only have the chance to watch as Lilian creates one of her favourite family dishes, but you will also have the chance to ask all your questions regarding Bukharian cooking and also listen to her as she talks about her connection to North London Hospice.
Joining this session could not be easier. All you have to do is:
1. Email ryshel@northlondonhospice.co.uk that you would like to sign up (this is essential to make sure you receive the access details, or you can also email fundraising@northlondonhospice.co.uk should there be any issues).
2. Donate the suggested £5 entry fee to this Fundraising page.
3. Wait for the 1st June to receive your information sheet about the session and your Zoom meeting code.
The event will start sharply at 6pm on 4th June 2020, and you will have the chance both during and at the end of the session to ask any questions to our wonderful guest cook.
Please note, while she will be cooking a meat dish, Lilian will also let you know how to prepare a vegan version of the dish. Your information sheet will also include a list of ingredients.
If you would like to find our more about the session, please do email ryshel@northlondonhospice.co.uk. If you would also like to see more about 'Miriam's table', please do visit our website or also thebukhariancookbook.com. Thank you so much for visiting our page and we look so forward to seeing you there!
Please note the demo may be recorded for the purpose of Miriam's Table, but only those who speak will be recorded, and the recording will stop before the Q&A session so everyone will still have a chance to unmute and speak without fear of showing on the recording. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to contact us using the email address above. Thank you again.
