The Civic Pride volunteers are working in Crawshawbooth to make it a tidier, cleaner and more colourful village. They are working in Jubilee Gardens and the playground, and regularly collect litter throughout the village and surrounding area.
They would like to raise money to install more hanging baskets, plant them up with winter colour and plant more flowers in the garden.
Elaine, one of the volunteers,, did a sponsored litter pick in Crawshawbooth on Sunday 19th January. She set off at dawn on a very cold morning - so cold that at first the litter was stuck to the pavement by ice and frost! But she was not deterred and it did become a little easier as the sun melted the frost. She collected 15 bags of litter. Please show your appreciation for this amazing work by donating money. The more donations the more plants and colour Elaine and her fellow volunteers in Crawshawbooth will be able to bring to the village in 2020.
