When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer, their whole world (and their family’s) can feel like it’s falling apart. Their anxieties are deep. Their education, mental health and social lives suffer. Their futures feel very uncertain.

Young Lives vs Cancer's specialist social workers provide tailored psychosocial support to children and young people with cancer, and their families.

They stop at nothing to make sure children and young people with cancer can get the right care and support at the right time. ​​​​​​

Every donation makes a difference to the work that Young Lives vs Cancer can do to support families through their child's cancer diagnosis and beyond.

£26 could help pay for an hour of a Young Lives vs Cancer Social Workers time, to provide families facing cancer with the emotional, practical and financial support they need.

£60 could pay for a family to stay overnight in one of Young Lives vs Cancers Homes from Home, providing free self-catering accommodation near to specialist children's cancer treatment centres, which are often many miles from a family's own home.

£100 could pay for a Young Lives vs Cancer grant, to help reduce the money worries that come with a cancer diagnosis.
