Story
Join us for an adventure that will change lives
After raising more than £1 million through five successful international cycling challenges, The Message Trust is bringing the adventure closer to home with our very first UK Cycle Challenge.
In September 2026, a team of riders will take on an epic 200 mile journey across England; starting on the west coast in Blackpool, stopping at The Message Trust’s headquarters in Wythenshawe, and finishing on the east coast in Grimsby.
This isn’t just a bike ride. It’s a chance to stand alongside The Message Trust and help bring hope and transformation to young people, families and communities across the UK.
Every mile has a purpose
The funds raised through this challenge will support our ongoing work across the nation; from reaching young people in schools and communities, to supporting families through our Community Grocery network and bringing hope to those facing some of life’s biggest challenges.
Every hill climbed and every mile completed will help make a difference.
The Message Trust has always believed that hope changes everything. Together, through this challenge, we can go further and reach more people who need it.
A challenge worth taking on
Over two days, riders will tackle 200 miles and almost 9,000ft of climbing through some of the UK's most stunning landscapes, including the Peak District.
Led by Sam Ward, UK CEO of The Message Trust, this exclusive challenge brings together supporters who are ready to push themselves physically while making a lasting impact.
