Story
Our High Holy Day appeal
This High Holy Days we're asking for donations to help support our community. Fundraising helps Crouch End Chavurah cover the costs of our events as well as services and activities, bringing our community together.
Some of the things we’re fundraising for this year include: undertaking maintenance work for our scroll; creating a discretionary fund to support community members in need; to part-fund our inaugural Shabbaton in 2026; and to make sure no-one is unable to join or send their kids to chaverim due to the cost.
About us
Crouch End Chavurah is a small, vibrant Jewish community, affiliated to the Progressive movement.
We cherish Jewish heritage, but interpret Judaism in a modern, progressive way. Our community is fully inclusive, welcoming individuals, families where only one partner is Jewish, same sex couples and patrilineal Jews.
As well as services and activities, we place strong emphasis on education, culture, wellbeing and social action. There is something for everyone, with participation actively encouraged - whether you want to attend services, learn, or just enjoy the company and food.

This High Holy Days, we're also fundraising for Friends of the Bereaved Families Forum.
