Pushing your comfort zones is a great way to develop yourself and seek that new thrill. You'll also be making sure we can be there today, tomorrow and for many years to come.
It was a great experience and I was able to relive memories of over 60 years ago when I first abseiled during my National Service in the Royal Artillery.
My wife, Leonor, has MND and the team at Cynthia Spencer provided loving care for 6 weeks until she moved to a rest home. I really wanted to reward the hospice's kindness and decided to leap off a 418ft tower at the end of a rope and hope that good people would support me! I believe that we raised over £1,200 and a big thank you to all who contributed.
By signing up to Abseil in aid of Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity you have become a Hospice Hero. Every penny you raise will go towards provided end of life care for patients and their families in West Northamptonshire.
In 2023 we are hoping our Abseil Hospice Heroes will be able to raise £12,500, which could fund 25 days of hospice care.
