We at the Community & Voluntary Services are once again holding our Christmas Toy Appeal, now in its 8th year. The appeal is run in aid of Cheshire East children and families that face difficult circumstances this winter and would otherwise may not be able to provide the magical and joyful experience all children should have on Christmas morning in finding presents under the tree.

Some of those supported are:

- Children with have chaotic home lives with domestic violence and substance misuse a regular occurrence.

- Families whose loved ones are in hospice for end of life care.

- Children and young people who care for a member of their family at home, many come from families who are financially disadvantaged.

For every £5 donated we are able to buy approx one gift or toy on your behalf, but every penny is appreciated and goes along way in making a deserving childs Christmas.

The toys donated to the appeal will be distributed to registered Cheshire East charities and organisations who work directly with the families and children in need.

Some of those supported were: Cheshire Without Abuse l Central Cheshire Buddy Scheme l South Cheshire CLASP l Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust l Home-Start Central and West Cheshire l Friends for Leisure l New Life Church (Congleton) l Mid Cheshire Riding for the Disabled l Ruby's Fund l Carers Trust 4 All l Oakenclough Children's Centre l Cre8 Macclesfield l Cheshire East Youth Support Service l Each charity working directly with the deserving children in the community. 9 Other CVS verified Cheshire East registered charities and local support services asked for their details not to be shared publicly.
