Story
Our popular scenic Cycle Challenge is back this August.
This fabulous event starts and finishes at Hope House and in previous years has seen more than 200 cyclists taking part.
Choose to pedal a 56-mile route to Lake Vyrnwy or a 70-mile distance to Lake Bala. The Lake Bala challenge returns via Bwlch y Groes – one of the highest public road mountain passes in Wales with a summit altitude of 545 metres.
Cyclists will have on route support and be provided with refreshments at our halfway feed station, an additional water station on the longer route, and treated to refreshments and snacks upon returning to Hope House.
There will also be physiotherapist support available before and after event.
You can also purchase one of our amazing cycling jerseys to wear with pride on the day - https://www.hopehouse.org.uk/Event/cycle-challenge-2026
We'd be grateful if those taking part could raise sponsorship to support local children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
The vital funds you raise for Hope House Children's Hospices, will help provide compassionate care to children with life-threatening conditions, in North and Mid Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire. Your support will help ensure that every child receives the best possible care whilst also getting the chance to thrive, enjoy amazing experiences, and create special memories with their families. So please do raise as much as you can.
