Club Peloton is the charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of young people. Since 2006, it has given over £5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference.
Cycle to UKREiiF is a three day endurance cycle challenge riding across the UK to arrive in Leeds for UKREiiF, raising funds for Club Peloton and its supported charitable project delivered by Cyclists Fighting Cancer.
Cyclists Fighting Cancer helps young people living with and beyond cancer to get pedalling on their road to recovery. Cycle to UKREiiF is raising £40,000 which will be used to fund a Cancer Exercise Specialist at CFC for two years.
The CES is a vital role within the CFC team. They will be responsible for offering bespoke exercise and activity advice to all children using CFC’s services, and providing programmes tailored to the child’s needs and capabilities.
Working closely with families, the CES will help them get maximum benefit from CFC services, ensuring the best possible long-term impact on the child’s health, by focusing on physical fitness, improving quality of life, and helping them to regain strength, mobility and confidence during and after cancer treatment.
