A group of the staff and volunteers of Capital of Cycling have made the commitment to ride to Glasgow for the COP26 Climate Conference at the start of November in order to raise awareness of the need to decarbonise transport.

For many of the participants, this will be the furthest they have ever travelled under their own steam. They will be facing some hilly terrain and the Great British weather at it's cold and wettest.

We are endeavouring to keep the costs of this journey to a minimum, using bunk barns and hostels and catering for ourselves as much as possible, but there will still be costs involved. In order to make this journey possible for us and our volunteers, who are on very low incomes, we are asking your support.

We are also raising funds for our bike gifting programme that gives bikes to refugees and asylum seekers in Bradford.
