Torus Christmas Campaign 2026

Campaign by Torus Foundation

Christmas can be a difficult time of year, particularly for older people living alone without close family. Help us to spread Christmas cheer by delivering gifts to socially isolated older people in our communities.

Charity of Torus Group, investing in people and places to build stronger communities. Across the North West, we support employment & skills, health & wellbeing, financial inclusion and opportunities for young people. FireFit Hub in Toxteth, Liverpool is a cornerstone project of Torus Foundation.

Story

Torus' Christmas Campaign is back for 2026, helping to ensure that older people living alone in our communities receive a gift and a reminder that they are not forgotten during the festive season.

We are proud to once again be supported by our Headline Sponsor, Caddick Construction, whose continued commitment provides a significant foundation for this year's appeal. After supporting the campaign in 2025, including volunteering to help wrap gifts, Caddick have chosen to return as sponsor, helping us continue to tackle loneliness and isolation among older people across Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.

"Caddick North West were delighted to be the Headline Sponsor last year in the Torus Christmas Campaign 2025. This is such a great campaign, helping to make a difference to hundreds of isolated older people at Christmas. We are delighted to sponsor the event again this year and make further impact in the community."

- Caddick Construction

Across Torus, more than 11,000 older tenants live alone, including over 1,400 people aged 80 and above. Many older people living independently face challenges linked to poverty, poor health and social isolation, which can be felt even more keenly during the festive season.

Thanks to the generosity of suppliers, businesses, community partners and individual supporters, last year's campaign delivered Christmas gifts to more than 640 older people who may otherwise have received little or no recognition at Christmas.

This year, we are aiming to hand-deliver gifts to over 700 older people living in Torus homes, bringing festive cheer, practical support and a message that somebody is thinking of them.

While Caddick's support has once again given the campaign a fantastic start, we can only achieve our goal with the help of partners and supporters like you. Every donation helps us reach more older people and make Christmas a little brighter for those who might otherwise spend the festive season alone.
