TBHC has lined up some of Ellis County's Finest! We have chosen 6 pairs of local business, non-profit, government and civic leaders. They have been working with professional dance instructors from Danceworks in Waxahachie to prepare a dance that will be performed during our Gala Event on February 5th, competing for the Mirror Ball Trophy and bragging rights for Ellis County.
Dancing with the Ellis County Stars will benefit TBHC Foster Care & Adoptions programs, including our new Teen Pregnancy Care Program, working with pregnant teens, both, in and outside the foster care system. These teens will receive assistance with their prenatal care, transportation, nutrition, and schooling, as preparation for parenting, should they decide to parent their child, and assistance with the adoption process, should they choose not to parent. TBHC will also work with the fathers if they choose to be involved. Our goal is to see a healthy and thriving family unit.
TBHC was originally founded as an orphanage in 1910 and has a long-standing legacy of caring for children.
