Dash-A-Thon is the only student-led fundraiser that directly supports the cost of students' DSHA education. The 2025 goal of the overall student body is to raise $90,000. Each house will work together to achieve their individual house goal.

DSHA is a Catholic college-prep high school for young women that excels at developing the whole person. We develop our students into capable young women of faith, heart, and intellect who accept the gospel call to live lives that will make a difference.

Story

Held in the first quarter of every school year, Dash-A-Thon begins with students dressed in theme meeting in the gym. Each grade level is assigned a theme within the greater theme of Dash-A-Thon: Dashing Through the Tropics. Senior leaders prepare the student body for their seven-mile walk and for those so inclined to run. It is an exciting morning for the whole school and students earn a much-needed afternoon of rest post-Dash.

What Students Can Earn

• When Dashers raise $75,000... students get the Wednesday before Thanksgiving off

• When Dashers raise $90,000... students receive a Movie Day at the Theater on the day before Thanksgiving and the Monday after Thanksgiving off

• When a house meets its $18,000 goal... students get a pajama and pizza day

• The winning house gets a week out of uniform and a Gilles sundae bar
