Story
On 12th–13th September 2026, I will be taking on the Thames Path 100km Ultra Challenge, walking 100 kilometres in just over 24 hours.
It’s going to be tough. There’ll be long hours, tired legs, and probably a few moments wondering why on earth they signed up. But it’s all in support of a cause that means a great local cause.
As a trustee of South Kent Mind, I have seen the difference the charity makes to people locally. Every day, there are people in our community who are struggling with their mental health and having somewhere to turn can make all the difference.
South Kent Mind offers that support. From counselling to wellbeing groups and community-based services, their work helps people feel less alone and more able to cope.
What many people don’t realise is that South Kent Mind is an independent local charity. They’re not funded by National Mind, which means everything they do is made possible by fundraising and donations. Every pound raised stays here in our community, supporting local people
If you’re able to support, it would mean a lot. And if not, even just sharing the page helps spread the word.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
