Story
David, a triple amputee following an accident as a child, is taking on the HUGE challenge of a parachute jump to raise much needed funds for The Pepper Foundation.
The Pepper Foundation relies on voluntary donations, community fundraising events and corporate partnerships to help fund the childrens nursing service. By supporting Pepper, you will be allowing children with complex health needs to be nursed at home, helping them to enjoy the best quality of life possible, however short that life may be.
The first half of 2022 has been a tough year for many of us. The rising cost of living has put a real strain on the finances of small charities such as our own; the nurses Pepper funds have a need to travel and the cost of that travel is increasing.
Following Covid, and now the cost of living crisis, Pepper, like many charities, are finding it challenging to raise the funds that we need to help the families that the Childrens Hospice at Home service works with. Without the Pepper Foundation, many children with complex health needs may not be able to receive the at-home care they need.
Please support this epic challenge by making a donation. Please note you can overwrite and give any amount you wish on the Justgiving page.
At the end of September, early October (depending upon the weather) I will complete a tandem skydive with Billy at Netheravon Airfield. I will be legless skydiving so I am encouraging my supporters to consider doubling their donation if I am able to be re-united with my artificial legs in the 20 meter target area, David
