Story

DAVID Cotterill, who won 24 caps for the Welsh football team, has chosen to auction his very last pair of signed football boots and donate all proceeds to the Welsh mental health charity, Gofal.

Having experienced depression and anxiety during the peak of his football career, Cotterill is now dedicating his time to raising awareness of mental health issues and encouraging people to seek support when they need it.

Cotterill has chosen to donate to Gofal after learning about the charitys work which supports three thousand people to effectively manage their mental health and live happier, fulfilled lives each year.

Funds collected from the auction will help to reach more people throughout Wales to get the help and support that they need.

This is not a traditional auction! All bids will be counted as donations to Gofal, meaning ANYONE can win not just the highest bidder.

*Please tick the Gift Aid box if you are eligible. We will contact the winner regarding their Gift Aid allocation following the auction.*

David's boots are size 7 and a half.
