Pudsey’s 300 starts on Friday 18th October and ends Friday 15th November! It’s your challenge, so you can choose the kind of exercise that suits you best: whether that’s 300 steps, 300 squats, 300 lengths, 300 miles or a mix of everything!

Children across the UK are facing greater challenges than ever, with around 1 in 5 now having a probable mental health condition such as anxiety or depression. They are also experiencing high levels of poverty, leading to inequality and lack of opportunity - and many simply carrying a load that’s too heavy to manage alone.

BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be. The charity funds project workers and initiatives across the UK - in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There’s at least one within 10 miles of every postcode!

Right now, the charity is only able to help 1 in 8 organisations who apply to them for funding, which is why this year, they are asking you to get involved and help make life lighter for children.
