Help Delilah

Campaign by DAWGS

Delilah was brought in as a stray and needs an operation to fix a dislocated hip.

Founded in 1994, DAWGS has rehomed over 4,000 dogs. We are dedicated to finding loving homes for dogs whose owners can no longer care for them. We receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of our supporters to continue our work. Thank you for your donation.

Story

Our hearts broke when we were recently contacted by Moray veterinary group about a female lurcher brought in by the police as a stray. Despite everything she has been through, she has shown nothing but kindness, she is an incredibly gentle, friendly soul who deserves a second chance.

When she arrived at the vets, it was discovered that she was very thin and had a dislocated hip. Sadly, despite attempts to reset it, the hip will not stay in place and continues to dislocate, leaving her in pain and in urgent need of surgery.

She has been lovingly named Delilah.

She is currently receiving pain relief and care from the vets, but the operation she desperately needs comes at a significant cost. We are asking for your help to give this sweet girl the chance to live a pain-free life and eventually find the loving future she deserves.

We know it’s a big ask but we are looking to raise £3,000.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards her surgery and ongoing veterinary care. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story would mean the world to us.

Thank you for helping us give this beautiful girl hope.
