Take on the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge® for Dorset County Hospital

On 15–16 May 2027, supporters from across Dorset will take on the spectacular Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge to raise money for Dorset County Hospital Charity.

This campaign brings together the fundraising efforts of everyone taking part, whether you’re raising money through an individual JustGiving page or as part of a team. You can also support one of our amazing participants by donating to their page.

Starting near Corfe Castle, challengers will walk, jog or run along Dorset’s World Heritage coastline, taking in Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Weymouth. With eight distance options from 10km to 100km, there’s a challenge for everyone.

Participants can take part individually or as part of a team, with support including rest stops, food and drink, medical care, massage, marshals and a fantastic community of fellow challengers.

Every donation will help Dorset County Hospital Charity provide vital extras that go beyond what the NHS can fund, supporting patients, families and hospital staff when they need it most.

Participants can choose to raise money for the Emergency and Critical Care Appeal, which has now reached an incredible £2.1 million towards its £2.5 million target. With £400,000 still to raise, every donation can help fund vital enhancements to the hospital’s new Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit, including relatives’ overnight accommodation, dedicated paediatric spaces, improved staff rest areas, a patient garden and state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Alternatively, participants can support a ward or department that is especially close to their heart. Whatever your connection to Dorset County Hospital, your fundraising can make a lasting difference.
