Living with deafblindness can be incredibly lonely, isolating and scary. Our specialist support helps people cope emotionally and practically. We listen, advise, care, support, coach, mentor and connect people. We help people to live better with sight and hearing loss.

Story

This winter, get active and stay healthy with the Winter Wellness 100 challenge, and make a big difference for Deafblind UK!

How it works:

✔ 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 using the orange 'Start Fundraising' button.

✔ 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲. It can be any activity you like based around the number 100 – walking 100,000 steps, swimming 100 lengths, cycling 100 miles, or anything else that interests you! Simply decide the timeframe you want to achieve your challenge in, and get started!

✔ 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗔 𝗮𝗽𝗽 (or any other fitness app) to track your miles if you're doing a distance challenge. For anything else share your progress with updates onto your fundraising page.

✔ 𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 and working towards your challenge throughout December and January.

✔ Share your challenge with friends and family and 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗞!

This is a fun, rewarding, and meaningful way to stay active while making a real difference!

Fundraising rewards:

£100 could pay for 4 hours of practical wellbeing support, to overcome the daily challenges of living with deafblindness.

Raise at least £100 through your challenge to receive a Deafblind UK sports t-shirt, cotton t-shirt or running vest - your choice!
