Dee is a real animal lover, especially dogs. She has always helped them when possible.

She has volunteered for Amicii for around 5 years and is now a trustee. She absolutely loves volunteering for Amicii. Dee has gained so much knowledge and understanding whilst working with such an amazing team of volunteers and so many different dogs. Amongst the list is new behaviours, dogs who fear their own shadows, reactivity, whether on their leads or not, fear of men, fear of noise. EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT.

Dee carries out home checks for the rescue along with helping to rehome and rehabilitate many dogs, she helps with fundraisers and events and gives any help needed by Amicii.

During the time with Amicii, Dee has both adopted and fostered numerous dogs. And has now started her own business – ‘Dee’s Doggie Home Boarding and Day Care.’

So, Dee thought after everything these dogs have gone through, the hell we have saved them from, that doing a fundraiser to help raise MUCH needed funds shouldn’t be THAT difficult. She thought she should push herself out of her comfort zone.

HER BIGGEST FEAR - IS HEIGHTS!!!! Dee trembles, freezes, and struggles with it. Heights is her kryptonite, so she has decided to do a WING WALK!

Here it is the fundraiser of hell for Dee - its’ booked for Friday 5th July at 11:30am and it’s all paid for so there’s no backing out now.

It’s a huge ask but it would be amazing if Dee could hit the £2000.00 target, but anything more would be super incredible.

ALL proceeds will go to the dogs. All staff are volunteers and don’t get salaries we do this for the love of these precious animals.

So PLEASE PLEASE even a £1.00 gets her closer to the target.

AMICII needs the money so desperately right now – the last thing we want is to have to close.
