Update 14 Oct 16:44
The response to this campaign has been overwhelming and we have reached our target in a matter of hours.
We will keep the campaign open. Any excess funds raised will be used to fund other improvements to the Theatre@41 building.

Every week hundreds of adults and children walk through our doors for classes, workshops and performances. Over the last few months we've invested heavily in first aid training and evacuation equipment to ensure everyone who visits us is as safe as possible.
But we want to do more.
The government has recently extended its defibrillator match funding scheme, so if we can raise £750 for half a defibrillator they will pay the rest.
Its a limited scheme which is why we need to do this as quickly as we possibly can.
Our nearest defibrillator is currently over a ten minute walk away. Quick access to a defibrillator can be a lifesaver. It can significantly increase survival rates, reduce brain damage, and provide peace of mind
We hope we never need it. But we don't want to take the chance
