Story

Help us raise funds for our 'Defibrillator Appeal' to allow us to purchase life saving Defibrillators for all of our services. This is imperative as it has been proven that incidence of cardiac arrest dramatically increases with age. Rest assured our staff are CPR trained although research suggests that 'one-shock defibrillation' can extend the CPR time compared to continuous defibrillation. Without immediate treatment, 90-95 per cent of cardiac arrests prove fatal therefore we are doing all we can to equip our teams with this life saving equipment.

Unfortunately, this kit is not cheap - we are looking to raise £7,176 to purchase 8 Semi Automatic Defibrillators certified by British Heart Foundation and London Hearts.

Your support by spreading the word or making a donation really will make all the difference.

About the charity

Our vision is that getting older is a positive experience and with our support on this aging journey, older people are respected, valued and able to make informed choices. We work towards making this a reality by providing services and support to people over 50 in Hampshire.
