💜 Dementia Action Week 2026: £2,000 Appeal
Dementia Action Week is a national awareness week focused on improving understanding of dementia and reducing stigma.
At Together Dementia Support, we see every day the difference the right support can make to people living with dementia and their families. This appeal helps us continue providing that support across Manchester.
We are aiming to raise £2,000 to help fund our core services for people living with dementia, including friendship and activity groups, one-to-one support at home, and trips out.
As part of the week, we’ll also be hosting a series of events across Manchester, led by and created with people living with dementia:
The Fabulous Forgetful Café – a pop-up café run by our members
Home, Heart & Connection exhibition launch – showcasing artwork and creativity from people living with dementia
Cream Tea & Brass Band Celebration – an afternoon of music and food
Our services are about helping people stay connected, active and part of their communities for as long as possible. That includes friendship and activity groups, one-to-one support at home, and trips out.
We’re hoping to raise £2,000 during Dementia Action Week 2026 to help us keep these services running and accessible for people living with dementia across Manchester.
Thank you for supporting us. Every donation helps someone stay connected, supported and involved in their community.
