Castlederg Patient and Comfort Fund for the Terminally Ill

The Castlederg Patient and Comfort Fund is a community-driven charity supporting individuals with terminal illnesses and their families in the Castlederg area. The fund was created to ensure that those facing the most difficult of journeys receive care, dignity, and comfort close to home.

Working closely with local healthcare professionals, the charity helps provide essential items and services not otherwise available through the health service. It ensures that people living with terminal illnesses can be cared for in their own homes, surrounded by loved ones, with the necessary resources to ease their pain and distress.

Funds raised will go towards:

• Comfort items and home-based care equipment

• Transport for patients attending appointments or receiving care

• Financial support for families facing hardship during illness

• End-of-life care support packages

• Coordination with community nurses and palliative care teams

• Bereavement support and respite for carers

By supporting these two incredible charities, you’re helping to provide essential mental health crisis services and comfort to those facing terminal illness in our community. Every donation makes a real difference.
