Story
At a recent meeting of the Select Vestry it was recognised and agreed that as we raise the funds for this project it could an opportunity to help others. Looking out to our world as well as resourcing the mission of our parish. In conversation with Rev Stephen McElhinney (SAMS Ireland) we are partnering with the Anglican Theological College (CEP), Santiago in Chile to enable them to purchase new technology that will enhance how they train individuals for ministry in South America. This will enable them to develop a new media department to provide online system for theological education and formation. Being able to provide quality recorded media for theological training will make a significant impact in a country which is 2,600 miles long.
The total cost of the project is £14000 with just over 20% going to CEP. Your donation this year will enable us to practically put the nuts and bolts in place here at home and in Chile to ensure that the good news of the gospel is shared with as many people as possible. It is a beautiful thing to consider that your donation will have an impact for Jesus not just in the here and now but for generations to come as new ministers are formed and shaped for service in the global church.
