Dawatal Islam Bike Ride

To help raise further funds for the Masjd Roof Appeal, from the Executive Committee alongside others are taking part in bike ride on Sunday 4th June from Dawatal Islam (thill) up to Low Moor (Bradford) and back via Spenvalley Greenway - approximately 35km in total!

Majority of the cyclist have limited experience of cycling and riding 35km will present a big challenge for most of them - please support them with your kind du'aas, encouragement and donations.

The ride will raises funds to replace the Dawatal Islam Roof - recent strong winds and bad winters have caused substantial damage to most of the Masjid roof. We have been advised by specialist roof contractors that the roof in its current condition is unlikely to last another winter.

Further bad weather could cause further damage both internally and externally. We firstly request you for your duas for the project, support for the volunteers taking part in this ride and to donate whatever you can towards this *URGENT* project.

Alhamdulillah, we have raised some funds last year and also during Ramadhan 2023 towards our overall target but are still someway short of the full target. Work is due to commence Summer 2023 insha'Allah - remember us in your du'aas and continue to contribute what you can towards our fundraising efforts.
