DIO’s Fab Four - London Marathon runners for 2026
Following in the footsteps of our solo runner last year, we have four fabulous runners who will be taking part in the iconic London Marathon to raise vital funds for the Veterans' Foundation.
We are incredibly grateful to the Veterans’ Foundation who offered DIO the places building on our fundraising successes of the previous year. #DIOGivingBack.
With bags of enthusiasm and keen to support the Veterans’ Foundation in their work for the armed forces and their families, our fabulous four have stepped up to the challenge to raise even more for this vital cause!
Let’s get behind our team and encourage them in their training journey and help them to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause. We will be following their progress and sharing updates on their training and fundraising journey.

What an honour it is to be running the London Marathon for our Veterans! I’m feeling all the emotions, excited, proud, a little (ok, a lot) nervous! Knowing every step will support those who’ve served will be my motivation to overcome this physical and mental challenge. The fun has already begun, training is underway, and 26 April 2026 will be upon us before we know it!

I am a hugely excited, if not equally nervous about running the London Marathon in 2026 in support of the Veterans’ Foundation charity. It has long been an ambition of mine to run a marathon and being able to do it for such a vitally compelling cause will certainly help me get the trainers on. Please get behind the whole team and let’s smash our fundraising goals!”

I am both excited and nervous in equal measure. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to take part in the London Marathon as it is something I have aspired to do for over 20 years, it will be by far my biggest challenge to date. As a Veteran myself, I am passionate about raising funds for The Veterans Foundation. I will feel proud to give something back to support others. Anyone who knows me, knows I love a challenge, the London Marathon is something I have aspired to do for over 20 years, and each and every donation will fuel my determination and resolve to get round the 26.2 miles.

I still can’t quite believe it! I’ve been accepted to run the 2026 London Marathon, let that sink in! I thought I was imagining things when I got the news, but it’s real and I’m absolutely buzzing! It’s a huge honour to represent the Veteran’s Foundation and I’m so grateful for the chance to support such an amazing cause. Taking this journey together as a team with the other successful runners, is both empowering and motivating as we stride forward to achieve this shared goal.
