Dorking Mens Shed are looking to obtain funding to acquire our own building - and your support is needed. Our building is crucial for us to be able to continue the work we are doing to support the local community.

Our ambition is to raise money to secure our building, and your support in helping us reach this goal will be hugely appreciated.

We are hopeful that our grant applications will be successful, however your contributions will help to demonstrate just how important the Shed is to the local community.

In the UK, around 1 in 8 men suffer from mental health problems. As men, we know we’re not very good at talking to others when we’re facing difficult times, or perhaps adjusting to a significant change in situation. We’ve created this community to help men to connect, converse and create. With activities similar to those of garden sheds, workshops, gardening and cooking – the group is here to reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, have fun.
