Have you ever witnessed how much food a hungry dog gets through? We have, and it's something we're seeing more of every day.

Our branch in Cornwall is not funded by the RSPCA and when buying food for our animals, this comes out of our own pocket. The majority of the dogs that come into our care are in need of care and good food to start their recovery, but we cannot do this without your support.

Scooby was part of a cruelty investigation where him and 5 other animals were removed from a property all emaciated and in urgent need of support. Scooby was 15 at the time and completely ravenous. He needed to be put on a specal veterinary diet to ensure that his body would recover properly. This came at a huge expense to our branch, but it was worth every penny to get this boy back on his feet. He peacefully passed away in his adopted home a year later.

14 year old Benson came into our care last year as part of a cruelty investigation. He was intentionally muzzled in his home and left to starve, without intervention, Benson would have soon passed away from being emaciated. During his stay with us, he ate his way through copious bags of dog biscuits and roughly 180 cans of dog food - that's just for one dog! Benson is now in a loving home that are giving him everything he always deserved.

Our branch currently has a good supply of dog biscuits, but we're in need of meat to make our dogs meals complete. All donation made form this fundrasier will go towards helping us buy meat and other essentials for the dogs in our care. If we are lucky enough to exceed our target, all additions will towards rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming hundreds of animals in Cornwall.

RSPCA Cornwall branch is not funded by the RSPCA so every penny from this campaign will go a long way to helping the dogs in our care.
