Help Us Beat the ‘Dog Poo Soup’ Disaster!

We need £170 for a proper dog poo bin at Gerddi Bro Ddyfi Gardens. The current one leaks, can’t be emptied easily, and creates a nasty mess. Help us keep the gardens clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone—especially our dog walkers! 🐶💚🌿

Story

Help Us Beat the ‘Dog Poo Soup’ Disaster!

We love welcoming dog walkers to Gerddi Bro Ddyfi Gardens in Machynlleth, but we have a bit of a problem… our dog waste bin is a disaster.

Right now, our small team of volunteers is responsible for emptying a broken, leaky metal bin that:

🚫 Has a lid that doesn’t fit – letting in rain and creating a pretty grim mess.

🚫 Has to be chained to a fence – so it can’t be lifted properly to empty.

🚫 Turns into ‘dog poo soup’ in wet weather – making an already unpleasant job even worse.

🚫 Is horrible to use- its not nice for dog owners either!

A proper, galvanised, post-mounted bin—one that’s easy to empty, weatherproof, and safe from vandalism—costs around £170. With your support, we can make sure dog walkers can keep using the gardens without turning our volunteers into unwilling sewage workers!

Every little bit helps! £5, £10, or even the cost of a fancy coffee will get us closer to a future free from poo-related trauma 😅

Thank you for keeping our gardens clean, our volunteers sane, and our dog walkers happy! 🐶🌿💚

Donate now and help us say goodbye to dog poo soup forever!
