Lucy Thane who will be celebrating her new ability to walk with ease is joining Raga of Green Kordofan for a sponsored walk to raise awareness and money for Green Kordofan and all of its refugees

The Journey is the Map is a creative and celebratory walk-through Kent taking in parts of the beautiful south eastern coast.

Incorporating dance and music as we progress there will be discussions and performances exploring our various experiences of body, home, land, country and earth. We will be engaging with the communities we pass through, as well as the elements of land, light, air and sea.

'The journey will be broken into five separate walks that will take place over the coming months.

We began our walk from Tonbridge to Yalding (8.19 miles) on May 1st 2022,

Walk 2 will be from Yalding to Linton (5 miles) on Saturday June 4th (so you can either avoid or celebrate the Queens jubilee and we can find creative ways to exchange our different perspectives) The Jubilee walk - Beginning time: 10:00 am

This promises to be a truly inclusive, joyous event which will bring us all together in dance and song to remember that in truth we were all lost wanderers once upon a time. Local actress Jessica Hynes has written a completely new folk song 'The Lost Wanderer' exclusively for Green Kordofan

and we will be teaching it and singing it to all participants along the way.'
