In August this year, our Catalyst Care Group family travelled to the Beatrice district in Zimbabwe, where they visited the rural home of two S.H.E. beneficiaries - Ropafadzo and Princess.
After learning that their family home was a tiny 3m x 3m mud hut that housed seven family members and that there was a chance of it collapsing as soon as it was really run down, our Catalyst Care Group family committed to transforming their lives by generously pledging to rebuild the family home.
We are proud to inform you that this life-changing project has officially commenced and the building of the new family home is progressing really well.
Now that the building is underway, we kindly appeal for support to provide the inside furnishings for our lovely family. Their wishlist consists of the following items:
1x set of sofas
1x medium dining table
1x double bed (base and mattress)
4x single beds (base and mattress)
4x sets of curtains
8x blankets
1x small cupboard for plates/mugs/spoons/forks/knives
1x Solar system for electricity (100 watts + 1 panel)
5x pillows
10x dinner plates
10x spoons
10x mugs
2x chest of drawers to put clothes on.
1x small reading table and chair
Clothes for all family members (young girls and boys to adult men and women)
Through your support, we will be able to meet our family's needs as best as possible.
➡️ Donate today, and help us furnish the new family home with all the things Ropafadzo and Princess desire as they truly deserve this. For more details, please contact Daniel: at daniel@catalystfn.org or +263 78 596 5538.
Catalyst Foundation is the charitable arm of Catalyst Care Group in the United Kingdom, falling under their house of brands as their ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ initiative.
We aim to empower vulnerable individuals by providing consistent, long-term support to those in need of our assistance. Support offered is tailored to every selected individual’s specific needs and devised into a sustainable plan to help them become the best version of themselves.
The S.H.E (Secure, Hope, Empowered) Programme focuses on empowering girl-child education across Africa, by removing the barriers that vulnerable girls face when accessing education.
Across Africa, 32.6 million girls of primary and lower secondary school age are out of school. This number rises to 52 million when looking at girls of upper secondary school age.
As a result of not going to school, girls may become victims of: - child abuse, child rape, early child marriages/pregnancies, HIV/AIDS, and the list goes on ... This is where we come in and try to bridge this gap on girl at a time, as we believe that every girl-child has the right to an education!
