These two donkeys arrived on the first weekend in November and we were told that they were both in good health and were much loved pets, but due to a change in the owners health they could no longer keep them.

Sadly, upon arrival, it became clear that the donkeys had health issues of their own.

One of the donkeys, a large cuddly brown boy, who is about 18 years old was struggling to walk and had travelled to us only being able to bear weight on three legs. He limped off the trailer and he is in obvious pain with one of his hind legs. We will put a video of him on our Facebook page.

The other donkey, a stunning black chap who is 15, has a large boney lump on his jaw.

Both are incredibly sweet, they love to be cuddled and we has assured them they are safe, loved and will be cared for. They have met their next door neighbours and we have made them comfortable on deep bedding and painkillers, but we were not expecting a large vet bill at this time - so please, if you can help, then please do......
