Sadly, we know that fireworks terrify many animals every year and some even become seriously injured when running away to escape the noise.

1 in 2 dogs, 1 in 3 cats, and 4 out of 5 horses show fear or anxiety when they hear fireworks.

Throughout October and leading up to 5th November, Oak Tree Animals Charity are asking animal lovers to take action by donating money that would otherwise be used to purchase fireworks.

#DontMakeANoiseMakeADifference is an appeal to help reduce the number of private fireworks events that occur throughout October and November whilst using donations to support vulnerable animals in our care.

£5 can turn your Catherine Wheel into a tasty meal or £10 turns a rocket flare into loving care!
