Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

This July, Dougie Mac is making a splash with our first-ever Swim Event—and we want you to be part of it!

We’re inviting supporters to take the plunge and pledge their swimming distance to help us reach a collective goal of 52km. That’s one kilometre for every incredible year Dougie Mac has been providing expert, compassionate care and support to patients living with life-limiting illnesses, and to their families and loved ones.

Whether you’re swimming lengths at your local pool, diving into open water, or paddling with purpose on holiday, every stroke counts. This is your chance to do something amazing in honour of our 52-year legacy—and help secure the future of the vital services Dougie Mac provides every day.

So, why not dive in? Challenge yourself, get sponsored, and help us raise essential funds to support those who need us most.

Sign up, set your goal, and make a difference—one length at a time.
