Story
Our new Deputy-CEO Adam Atlasi has worked for the past 5 years alongside Roundabout and a team of wonderful dramatherapists, supporting Older Adults in our local community.
Adam and 5 friends will be taking on TOUGH MUDDER on the 21st September, a 15km obstacle course race through water, scaling heights, running through electric fences and yes, you guessed it, wading through mud. And LOTS of it. His friends decided they'd like to support the cause and fundraise for Roundabout's work with older adults.

Sadly, the reality is that without further funding, we will have to say goodbye to the groups of adults at the care homes where we have been working for several years.
Past clients' words highlight the invaluable impact of this work.
" I always feel really good when I come here" is what one of the older adults said recently about a dramatherapy session, in the care home where they live.
Roundabout’s dramatherapy sessions have become a reason to get up in the morning for the older adults we support, and when the dramatherapy is over, people have made friends and found a stronger voice.
By enhancing skills in listening and communicating, by ensuring each member of the group feels heard and valued, and by finding or creating connections and shared interests between group members, Roundabout’s dramatherapy sessions radically reduce the loneliness of older people living in care homes or isolated within the community.
Unfortunately, older adult communication skills and emotional needs are often overlooked, and funding is extremely hard to find to work with this group which is why we need your help.
Please donate what you can to enable us to continue to provide the valuable dramatherapy support to older adults. Thank you.
