Run Kids Run is back! On the 7th of July 2024, Drayton Park kids will run 2km around Highbury Fields supported by their friends and families. Everyone is welcome, including the little ones.

Last year, Drayton Park PTA collected over £4000 which was doubled by the organisers. The money helped to found sport equipment for all year groups, attending 10+ sport competitions, outdoor activities during Year 6 residential trip and many other little things to encourage our kids to be active

This year, we’ve set a fairly ambitious (but hopefully achievable!) target of £5,000. Unfortunately the matching model has now been changed by the organisers, in order to encourage bigger participation. (As you can see the active lifestyle really maters to them!). If our participation rate is over 30%, the school will receive the full £5,000. If our participation rate is over 20%, the school will receive £3,000.

Monies raised will once again cover coaching, competitions and outdoor activities that aren't possible without funding beyond the school's budget. In addition, we aim to invest in long-term improvements to the EYFS playground, making outdoor play more fun, active and beneficial.
