2024 Charity Bike Ride - Netherlands

An intrepid team of 11 Darlington Rotarians will be cycling over 250 miles over 5 days in June to raise funds for local and international charities.

Darlington Rotary is one of the largest and most active in the UK. The members are people of all ages, who are keen to utilise their skills and resources for the benefit of others in their community, in the UK and abroad.

Story

This year we will be cycling in Holland between Thursday 20th June and Tuesday 25th June:

Day 1: Darlington to Newcastle | Overnight Ferry to IJmuiden

Day 2: IJmuiden to Maassluis

Day 3: Maassluis to Amersfoort

Day 4: Amersfoort to Weesp

Day 5: Weesp to IJmuiden | Overnight Ferry to Newcastle

Day 6: Taxi & Train back to Darlington

This marks the latest chapter in our series of annual charity bike rides, which have collectively raised over £50,000 and covered more than 1,500 miles since 2013.
