Many refugees and asylum seekers once they have achieved "Leave to Remain" status need support to get them into the job market. Obtaining a UK driving license is a significant step along this road! Please help us pay for driving lessons.

Story

Omar,(real name withheld), a refugee from North Africa is a graduate mechanical engineer with over 10 years of experience working on large infrastructure projects. Driven from his home by war he now has "Leave to Remain" in the UK. His job center say that they have several jobs he is qualified for, but he needs a UK driving license. Please help Omar to help himself.

About the charity

We exist to help refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants. We offer casework, legal aid, English classes, and access to essentials. We provide practical and emotional support, run a weekly drop-in advice centre, and provide a social hub where they can meet others on a similar path.
