Support Dr. Sarah & Poppy’s Hyrox Challenge for the Sussex Cancer Fund

Dr. Sarah Westwell, a Clinical Oncologist at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, and her daughter Poppy are taking on the Hyrox challenge in Birmingham on 25th October to raise funds for the Sussex Cancer Fund.

We work together with the NHS to help make life better for cancer patients in Sussex – providing equipment & services that make a tangible difference for patients who are often on a difficult & stressful journey. We also fund cancer research programs.

Story

Dr. Sarah Westwell, a Clinical Oncologist at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, and her daughter Poppy are taking on the Hyrox challenge in Birmingham on 25th October to raise funds for the Sussex Cancer Fund.

Hyrox is a global fitness race designed to push participants through a mix of endurance and strength exercises, including running, rowing, and weightlifting. It's no small feat, but Sarah and Poppy are determined to complete the challenge to support a cause close to their hearts.

The Sussex Cancer Fund works tirelessly to improve cancer services across Sussex. They provide vital equipment, support for patients and staff, and fund research projects, all aimed at making life a little easier for those affected by cancer.
